hohoTO is what I want to talk about on Christmas, of all days, because it is a perfect Christmas story. It is a story about 15 people with twitter accounts, who decided to throw a party for the local tech geek community to benefit Toronto Daily Bread. It is a story about the unprecedented generosity of geeks in Toronto, who all win a prize for the best social and charitable tech geek community ever. Search for #hohoto on twitter and you’ll see what I mean.
Thanks to the fabulous generous geeks, phreaks, webheads, twitterfiends, techies, sponsors and raffle prizes donors, volunteers, media, marketing, PR types and all their friends, and everyone else who HoHoTO’ed for Daily Bread
As the days go by and the HoHoTO magic settles in, I am looking forward to many more conversations with all the people I met through working behind the scenes, partying with the HoHoTO crowd, twittering and staying on top of hundreds of emails (I actually miss it now)
Big thank you to the HoHoTO team. Even though I still haven’t properly met some of you, you are my favourite tweeple.

Have we met at the HoHoTO? Would you like to grab a coffee in the New Year and do some brainstorming about HoHoTO 2009? Leave a comment or contact me. I’ve met way too many great people through this thing to let you be a passer-by.
